first burn
On the first burn, allow the candle to form a melt pool to the edge of the container to avoid tunnelling.
trim that wick
Always remove any “mushrooms” that from at the top of the wick and trim to 1/8” to 1/4”.
Our all cotton wicks can be pinched off with your fingers and burn best when very short!
If you are experiencing a large flame or soot in the flame, extinguish your candle and trim the wick.
empty your vessel
Oven:
Put your vessel in a warm oven (200) for 10 minutes or until melted. Using an oven mitt, pour any leftover wax out and remove wick holder. Wash with hot soapy water or put in the dishwasher.
Pour Over:
Pour boiling water in empty candle vessel. Wax will rise to the top and harden. Remove wax disk and discard or use in a wax warmer.
Freeze:
Pop candle vessel in freezer overnight. Pop out frozen wax with a butter knife and discard or use in a wax warmer.
reuse
Our glass vessels can be re-used for any kind of storage you can imagine.
If you need to part with your vessel, please follow the cleaning instructions and recycle.
